Agree with these guys, it was a big topic with us in our rebuild because of the PO’s mess just about everywhere front to back and the glass fuses. We looked at all of them including Kwik Wire. Neutral safety switch. Mount on lower part of column on top. You will see slot for that brown tab to slide into the column and move with the shifter- Randy and Easton

I agree with all above. grounds first, check alternator load and then headlight switch engine off. Then dimmer.- Randy and Easton

Custom Kick Panel Cover
They want you to cap them and the Vintage Air kit comes with the block off plate for the passenger kick panel vent. Easton did not want the plastic vent panel look, wanted clean metal look.- Randy and Easton

Yeah, we put all kinds of sealer in there and finally got all the leaks stopped but we think this is where we are getting this squealing noise. We think it’s the two panels flexing against each other as we drive. With the new panel, if this IS our problem it should correct it… Thanks again...- Randy and Easton

We have the vent assembly, but he wanted to eliminate it is why the cover. He is not doing any plastic trim in the truck and the cover we made we think is causing the noise. Thanks @SquareRoot- Randy and Easton

@MarineOne < we have rubber sealer between the panels, and sealant around all the edges to prevent leaks. Still not sure if this is our problem, I’m almost deaf and trying to get Easton to pin point this is going to lead to at least some mild form of child abuse. Lights are all wonky
I’m going with @DoubleDingo , ground. Check rear tail lights in the housing to bed and switch to parking brake frame. One other thought is dimmer switch maybe? Not sure if those new squares (compared to E’s ‘76!) all run through dimmer switch first? Randy- Randy and Easton

E was just blocking off because it’s an AC truck and no vent on drivers side. But that might be a good option if it seals the vent and eliminates the squeak. I will look at that. Headlamp wiring
@lee1984c10 , green is for high beams , tan for low beams and black is ground. On the headlight plug green on right side at 3 o’clock tan on top or 12 O’clock and black at 9 O’clock glad I went out and took a picture, one of my make shift crimps is not secure. @fast 99 how did the dash bezel (appliqué) fit on passengers side? The dash we got from Truck shop was also a dash direct but the dash appliqué/bezel did not line up with the holes in the dash and it bowed way out. Truck shop sent second dash, same fit.
