Well if you’re going to spend over 1K getting the old system running I can only say look at Vintage Air. Made in San Antonio, it’s a turn key kit for these trucks. @Okie Joe , looks like our original set up. I’ll get in attic and find old compressor if we still have it. We had same problem with the belts and such not lining, things wobbling every which way. Anyone Use Classic Industries Dash Pad
The truck shop dash situation was a fiasco to say the least. Sent it all back (shipping on them) got LMC vinyl dash in today. It’s a dashes direct and it went right in. @SirRobyn0 , great thread. Take a look at the American Autowire relay kit versus LMC. We bought both, but the LMC version was “made in China” and the American Autowire was such higher quality.. just our opinion, and we got it on scamazon for about the same price with free shipping! @CalSgt , Got LMC pad today (dashesdirect). Bezel fit‘s better but the A/C vent once installed on the back, there is not enough of the pin left for the speed nut to grab the post. I also noticed my vents seem to be sitting deeper than yours. I know different Years and maybe different vents...- Randy and Easton

Searching for a modern sound system
Get a 5 channel Amp to power amp then that leaves 4 channels left for the other speakers. If you want to tie in dash dual speaker into kick panel speakers that can be done as well.
