    Most are 3.07 ratio. Count the ring & pinion & then divide to see your ratio...which will be 3.07.

    My boy had a 91 V1500 Sub with the 350 that I did headers & true duals on. It had a 1 wire O2 sensor & I jumpered it & welded a bung on both collectors & it ran great. Yours may have a 454 but should still be the about same setup. HS

    Weight distribution will load the suspension thru the hitch. It makes tag-along trailers a much better ride. Just do the Google machine & you'll see. HS

    Here's my...my dad's C20 Crew pulling a 28' camper in the early 80's. He didn't kill it but from memory it pulled fine. 350/SM465 & 3.73 gears.

    I'd drill a hole and attach the clip with a screw. I've been here before & now when those brads either fall or rust out & then need replacing. I've had to improvise several for the vinyl roof on my '74 Z28 that I've been working on the last few years. HS

I thought about using a CUCV frame that I have but after a bit of thought I realized what kind of punishment & abuse the 76 endured as a plain ole half ton. I'm keeping it Dana44 & 12bolt half ton but swapping in the beloved SM465 and NP205...

    The floor switch will plug directly into the column harness. You can make you a jumper lead to floor or dash mount the switch.

    I have a very good 91 V1500 Sub body & chassis if you're interested. There should be no frame difference between the 1500 & 2500 & if so it's minimal. HS

    Welcome from the Tarheel State. It's tough to drive them & work on them simultaneously but we do what we must! I drove my 72 Camaro in primer for years (10) until I found time & funding to paint it. Good luck with your project! HS

    Make certain that the belt routing & fan blade orientation is correct. Make certain that there's correct tension on the belt as well. I ran into a similar issue with an old NC Forestry K2500 years back. HS

    I worked on my '87 & it's not perfect but it's good! Considering it was almost 40 years old with mostly original paint, I've given the next owner a much better guide coat than what I started with. Your ride looks great, put the adornments back on & go ride! HS

    The slip yoke should be half it's travel with the vehicle suspension supporting the sprung weight. HS
