I built a Crew on a LB frame about 20 years ago. I used a 74 K20 chassis & a 77 cab. I used a body lift for the radiator support & front cab mounts. I then used angle iron welded to the frame for the center cab mount & finally welded a 2WD tranny crossmember on top of the frame for the rear...- Strick

Questions about turning a Burb into a 4 door pickup
Yes it does, my apologies for the late response. I cut the lift gate glass away and removed a bunch of the locking mechanism from the latch. The hinge is not the most sturdy but it serves its purpose. It was going to be very complicated to make the gate drop and was way easy to make it swing... -

new from south texas
Welcome from Central NC. I've been as far south as Houston/Galveston but no farther. All the locals kept referring us Yankees to go to Kemah while there. It was similar to Myrtle Beach I thought. Glad to see you get your old Square back in the deep Lone Star State.- Strick

New to me '82 Chevy C20
I have a 55 6100 truck which is a two ton that I converted to 3/4 ton 4x4. I have the welding teacher's 52 "Job Rated" 1/2 ton Dodge in my shop even now. Again, welcome to the site and keep posting pics.- Strick

Hey man, welcome to the site. I like both rides BUT there's room a plenty in the K5. I love those old Broncos, Scouts and first gen K5's too but there is not as much room in those as there is in the Square. Thanks for the pics. HS- Strick
