What kind of shift lever is this?

The knob I think is from a 90s topkick/Kodiak. The shift lever itself, I want to say I've seen ones like that in something, but can't recall what.

    14 bolt brake cleanup

And take pictures before you tear down each side to reference later. And don’t throw any old parts away until you complete the job, not all hardware is available new and then the pain and agony of finding another whatever you threw out begins. DAMHIK and BTDT

1981 gmc 3500 two tone blue and silver pictures?

Can’t tell from the picture, but if that was a cab and chassis truck, the rear is narrower than a dually pickup is. If it is a cab and chassis a normal dually pickup bed won’t fit (well, it will fit, but due to the width differences there is going to be a big gap between the flare and outer...

Is anyone having any luck buying a vehicle from Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace right now?

I’ve had pretty good success buying on marketplace, Craigslist is pretty much dead around here (the auto section is mostly buy here, pay here car lots/curbstoners, tools section is like 4 main posters relisting the same stuff for years), but I did get a 99 Ram 2500 for parts last year for a...

That's how two tone squares were painted. Secondary color shot first, masked off with butcher paper then primary color sprayed.

I know nothing about glass, but it looks to me like the origin is around where the latch is for the glass.

Who has an american auto wire 500665 crimper????

Looking at the last picture, it looks like the hole is the OD of the lug + maybe 5%, up to 10% perhaps. I have an inexpensive hydraulic Crimper that uses hex dies and works very well. Just to throw out there.

What new tools have you got lately?

Not new, but brought new life to it, I had inherited it with my uncles tools. I had initially thought it was an inline air drill, discovered it’s a die grinder with a Jacob’s chuck. Not sure how but things clearly went pear shaped at some point: But I had also inherited a new Jacobs chuck...
