    These might be suitable for your application? Otherwise if you have a decent exhaust shop around you they should be able to put that end on a stub of pipe and likely source the correct flanges too.

    But to the question at hand, check valves as @DoubleDingo shows, also note if any are loose, loose. Check your header bolt tightness too, sometimes they loosen up (or gasket compresses) just enough to start leaking, then once heated up seals. Tighten them back up and leak goes away.

    Ditto, long bed with a 20 gallon tank puts the sender right in the gap of the bed and cab (great place for it lol), the front bracket location should be the same from long to short (not 100% on that however), with the rear of the tank being the difference.

    Had the same thing when I did the dingleball rebuild on the slant six in my Dart, put new cam bearings and and go to drop the cam in (literally, had the block stood up) and a had do do some scraping and honing. Thankfully without the crank in place there is plenty of access.
