    Aries step bar install

Could probably pick up a set of N-fabs for an OBS or NBS and modify without too much trouble. Since they mount to the pinch weld, you'd just have to fab up the support brackets to go to the inner rocker or floor pan

Rear Step Bumper Pad 1985 GMC C15

If there's no holes, that's definitely what they did. Back then, any sort of pad would have most likely had some studs/pins/hardware into the bumper whether it was OE or aftermarket

Rear Step Bumper Pad 1985 GMC C15

I've never seen a pad on a step bumper for these, just bare metal/chromed/painted/etc

Is anyone having any luck buying a vehicle from Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace right now?

There's a half ton 'burb near me that looks pretty decent and the same color combo as my truck for $2500 I've been trying to ignore lol

    Let’s see your memorabilia?!

My dad had purple hornies on his '70 Challenger 340 4-speed back in the day, said they bolted right to the headers and then he had some short pipes run and turned out righ tin front of the rear tires. He can't give me **** for all my stuff being loud lol

Can't get rid of play in the steering

Agreed. I was originally just gonna weld in a tube but for that price and I can keep the OEM+ look? Yes please

    Let’s see your memorabilia?!

Man, that's so cool. I'd love to find something like that to explore and maybe pick up a few pieces. People around here and the antique stores all want an arm and a leg for cool old stuff like that. I found a cabinet not long ago on marketplace for $75 and snatched it as soon as I saw it, stuff...

Did ALL 1977's get yellow painted side trim?

Sure ya can, just takes a can of Testors, a brush and a steady hand!

    New Car Hauler

Nice!! Told the GF I need to pick one of these up in the next couple years, just good to have

What would you pay for this truck?

What's wrong with purple? If I ever had a Snack Pack like your orange one, it'd be purple lol

    Huck's daily - 2005 Z71 crewcab

Thanks man! The clusters aren't too terribly bad until you get into lots of customization. A basic one with just an overlay and some LEDs runs about $300 and you get a transmission temp gauge. The ones like I posted should be like $375-400. Thought about doing it myself but not sure I want to...

Those steering wheel holders always make me laugh lol I need to make some bigger plates to check toe. Those my coworker let me borrow worked, but I'd like them to cover more of the wheel. We've got tons of scrap stuff laying around I could use, just gotta do it

Lowest drop coil springs for c20/c30?

So Karen is pretty much this kit from Western Chassis, 2.5" spindles and 3" springs with Porterbuilt 1" narrow and 1" forward control arms https://westernchassis.com/1973-91-Chevy-GMC-C3500-Deluxe-Lowering-Kit-5-Front-7-Rear/

Lowest drop coil springs for c20/c30?

Just an FYI, you'll NEVER get it aligned with 6" drop springs. I've probably got 2.5-3" of drop with my cut stock springs and can't get the camber in spec. That crewcab is my buddy's truck, I just asked him what the combo is.

I really like this steering wheel!

Yeah they've got some awesome stuff, I like the carbon fiber interior pieces they make for my '05. But it's all wayyy too expensive for stuff that just looks cool and serves no function

    Booster shocks?

Agreed. "lift a few inches" and "cheap" don't go together. Either do it properly with suspension lifts/different spring pack and a lift shackle or run smaller tires till you save up to do it properly

And last is a muffler and tip, probably do the big Corsa and and a dual 4" tip out the pass side. Can't have a cammed V8 and not be able to hear it lol Also hit anything I could quickly reach in the engine bay with some trim restorer. At some point in the future I'll spend more time cleaning it...

    Huck's daily - 2005 Z71 crewcab

Had a small checklist of things to do last night: - Install zerks in the lower BJs (couldn't do this, gotta get some 90* ones from the parts store) - Install cotter pins in the upper BJs - Done - Hook up the fog lights - Done - Change out the short body bolts for longer ones and torque to spec...

    New daily driver

No I know that, I'm mainly referring to the blanked out MSRP. Several dealers around here, you couldn't see what MSRP was on Raptors, Corvettes, F250/350s, all the expensive stuff. Which I guess doesn't matter to those folks anyway. Obviously you could go online and get an idea but still. You...

What have you done to your square lately??

If it were me, I'd just use clear packing tape and go over the whole thing carefully inside and out. Don't open or try move either side, just tape over and wait for it to be replaced

What have you done to your square lately??

I agree about the focal point looking near the latch. Is your latch super difficult to latch? I would imagine Safelite is going to do a full replacement rear slider, it's pretty hard to find pieces for these. Shoot a pic of your gasket/glass near the corner. I'm curious if yours uses the OE seal...

Power windows and locks, Rusty Ground Buss

Those female spades come in various sizes. That's exactly what I'd use (though I'd put a bit of shrink wrap on to help seal the end of the connector to the wire sheath). IIRC, I added a ground to that buss bar and the correct size spade was hell getting it on. I think it's designed that way so...

What would you pay for this truck?

This one was sold new in FL and then went to NC. NC/SC is where I see the most of these. Being in Ga, solid red and red/white were the most common for us growing up thanks to UGA
