    Rotted out EGR diaphram frame

I'd recommend soaking in PB for a couple days before hand, 1-2 applications a day, then heat, more PB and then try to remove. Works 99% of the time for me

What have you done to your square lately??

Just some Meguiers, I don't even know where it came from but it was in the garage lol.

    15th annual - Dino's Git-Down - Glendale, AZ 2025

I hate how hotels do that, that's some BS.

What have you done to your square lately??

Finally got tired of how bad the tops of my door panels looked any time it rained/they got water on them, so I treated them with leather/vinyl conditioner. They were SUPER dry, idk when the last time I treated them was. I need to get better about that before they dry out and break

    New front bumper and brackets

Install the brackets on the bumper, leaving the hardware barely hand tight, then slide the bumper onto the frame rails and use jack stands to hold it up while you maneuver everything around to line up the holes

Lesson here is, brute force is rarely the answer

    Stereo

^Was gonna say, you can probably look up the model of your radio and get a wiring diagram/the user manual to download. Same with the amp

K5 rear seat just wont latch!

So the next question is, what years is the truck? You say '77 but the fold down seats didn't start till '78. Post a picture of the rear floor, I'm wondering if someone "added" the fold down seat

I couldn't believe how easily it snapped! Didn't even feel like a snap, it just suddenly got easier to close lol. It's definitely going to be a solid setup once the bugs are worked out. Every fresh new build has a few, if this is all I run into, we'll be doing good

Yeah, I'm just thankful I caught the leak before it dumped all my fluid and either burned the truck down or burned up the trans. I cheaped out on the tailgate assist. It had good reviews, but I'll get the DeeZee one next time. My Ram had one and my GF's F150 has one so I've gotten used to it...

Also, on Sunday I'd attempted to install the ventshades and tailgate assist I'd had laying around for a few months. Opened the box to find the ventshades had already been opened, the vacuum sealing was cut and they'd banged around enough to scratch the crap out of each other And one front one...

Well, ran into a little hiccup yesterday. Walked by it at work and noticed a drip from under the core support. I knew exactly what it was. I'd reused the original trans cooler lines and just re-bent them. They were already weeping and I knew full well they wouldn't last forever, though I thought...

3” header back exhaust pipe kit for 2wd?

I always just take my trucks to the exhaust shop and let them fab up a system. Much easier that way

K5 rear seat just wont latch!

Have you tried unsticking/lubricating the latch so it moves freely? No amount of slamming will make it work if the latch is frozen

    1974 NOS doors.

Oh I know. Some of the aftermarket stuff still is bad but most of it has come way up in the last 10+ years. And what's left of NOS now really is junk 90% of the time. Heck, we have an NOS '70 Dart bumper in our showroom that might as well be silver the chrome is so bad lol

Lowest drop coil springs for c20/c30?

He may drive it every day but I promise you he's replacing tires on the regular. With our style suspension, the only way to achieve that is to do custom suspension, whether it's custom control arms or an air bag setup but it absolutely will not drive well

Lowest drop coil springs for c20/c30?

That truck's air bagged. You can't drive like that, you'll be replacing front tires every 100mi. That truck is just parked that way, the wheels straighten out when he "airs up" to drive

    1974 NOS doors.

90% of the time, NOS stuff doesn't fit any better than aftermarket. Half the time, NOS just means it wasn't good enough to go on a truck on the line lol. Y'all would never believe me if I told you about some of the absolute JUNK NOS parts we've bought over the years

    Inline tube

Yep, I did my rear line from the distribution block all the way back. Other than having to really cinch down on the joiner fitting more than I wanted, it was top notch. Don't be surprised if it comes rolled up in a box, just carefully straighten it out (so you don't kink it) and it'll be fine.

Thanks! Put about 250mi on it this weekend and so far so good. Got some valvetrain noise on the driver's side that sounds a little worse than I think it should so I need to pop that VC off and have a look. That and it stinks, but I think that's a combo of the paint burning in and a weeping trans...

Full 1980 square headlight set up.

We carry the grilles but we developed our own tooling by reverse engineering. The GM molds would be too worn if they even exist by now

So the first two 20mi drives, I wasn’t sure that I liked the stall in this truck. The truck was revving real high, not wanting to move, seemed like it was struggling. I thought I’d made a mistake putting a stall in a fullsize truck on 35s. Hopped on the interstate and it wouldn’t go in lockup...
