You sir, are a genius! Pretty sure that I have an old inverter in the shed! Heck, I even have an old rusty battery charger that I can splice into the hot wires from the inverter to keep the battery power up to keep the fan from getting drained while the fan is running. Sniper Coolant Temperature Probe Location?
Boy am I a dum arse, or what? All I need to do is to swap sensor locations; dash temp sensor from the current head location to the water neck port & sniper temp sensor to the head port. I don't care if the dash temp is not as accurate. DUH is me!- farm truck

The handheld sensor is velcro'd to the carpet on the hump below the heater duct, visible with a slight dip of the eyes. Truck is a '70 GMC C2500.- farm truck
