what size fuel tank do i need?

Don't recall about all of them but the duals that i pulled not too long ago were exact opposites. And the necks were towards the rears.

what size fuel tank do i need?

Order a tank for a truck that came that way or a driver-side tank from a dual tank truck?

Just don't do it on the fly. Askmg for TC trouble.

Well, that depends on which locker you have, bro. A gov-bomb will do just like that for example. Go to jerking and snatching on it and you can get a gov-loc to lock but yours is probably open because of the behavior that you have described.... or a broken gov-loc.

6 inch lift or 4 inch lift

The front-upper-shackle-hangers might need attention too. Squeaking ain't good.

    Rockwell Axles

The rocks can be narrowed as well. I would suggest 49"+ tires for Rockwells. Ground clearance for the axle housing is a bear but DIY4X has some skid plate deals that replace the bottom cover and maximize clearance and that would help. Leaf sprung will work but I wouldn't suggest it because your...

You should grease them. That's actually proper maintenance. DIY4X sells bolts with grease fittings in them and drilled sleeves to make this possible without disassembling them every time they need grease.

    shackle flip?

What front axle do you have, Ingram? You might find yourself in need of a right side flat-top knuckle for crossover steering. You need to share all your specs so we can better help you. The zero-rates will allow you to move the axle by either 1" or 1.5" if you choose or center just like stock...

maybe got to big of tires!?

You're trimming significantly or more lift and trimming less significantly. It doesn't take rocks to flex enough to tear up fenders and tires. My rig still rubs, (very, very slightly) as seen in the following pic, but I can still steer with my tire tucked all the way in with very minimal...

Thanks for the compliment! We're gonna have to make it a point to cross paths, John! Your K5 is looking pretty sweet.... and don't come at me with that "when it's finished" junk. I know how that "when it's finished" stuff goes.... lol! I'm in the process of shaving a 14bff and swapping the rear...

In a rig that runs 2300rpm at 55mph in stock form, a 4.56 would put it at about 2263rpm@55mph running a 44" tire.... if my math is right. that's pretty damn close to stock right there. I actually just passed through Mobile on the way to the Blazer Bath event in Lacoochee, FL. I may have pissed...

Been doing this stuff my whole life, bro. Seen both sides of that and in between. Dealt with overdrives, underdrives, doublers, and enough related math to drive you crazy. Don't just assume that I'm a dumbass please. I asked a completely legitimate question out of genuine curiosity and not to be...

Update? The correct way to change the pinion seal is to yank the pinion out and change the crush sleeve then put it all back together with a new nut and, using a torque multiplier, tighten the bloody piss out of the nut until the correct pinion depth is achieved assuming that the bearings are in...

You need a proper underdrive like found in a motorhome if you want to drive this thing on the road.

    12" lift

Actually, running 46's on a d60 is kinda pushing it if you play hard. That's the minimum that you want though is the d60. Build it with 35-spline, hardened axles and stuff if you plan on playing hard.
