DRW Dana 60 front
I gave $750 for my SRW D60 complete. Just had to get the rotors turned and new brake pads. That was about 9 or 10 years ago! I guess it depends where you live. I see them from time to time at the swapmeets around $1000 most people will come down on the price if they really want to sell it .- sean1960

12" lift
Thank you. The track bar is a top link from Tractor Supply. All the brackets were fabbed by me. The springs are Superlift 8 inch lift rear springs on the front and back. T-case fluid confusion
I run 80W-90 gear oil in a divorced 205 and the front driveshaft spins in two wheel drive. I'm assuming the gear oil is the cause of this phenomena.- sean1960

Hey Eugene, The doubler won't work on a everyday driver even with 46" tires it's to low of a gear for the street. What are you going to use the truck for?- sean1960

th 350 stall size????
What is the bore on your 454? The bigger the bore the more it will mellow the cam requiring less stall. Your truck weighs around 6000 pounds maybe a little less, I don't think you need more than 2400 to 2600 stall if that. Just my 2 cents. Off roading
It's all technique! Use a strap (not a chain) and use momentum. The weight of your truck and it's momentum is what will free a stuck truck not the size of your motor. although a 454 wouldn't hurt.- sean1960

Suspension/Tire Question
Don't rule out a 3" body lift and 6" suspension lift combo. The 6" suspension lift will a-void the pitfalls of the 8" lift. The 3" body lift is one of the least expensive ways to lift a truck.
