new tranny lazy going into gear

fluid is full,shifter feels fine,and the modulator hose is on and looks good.I just put this tranny in. this stinks i bought the tranny 6 weeks ago and just got it in. is there a port to check pump pressure ?

hi guys this is my first post and you guys have a very nice site. I hope someone will chime in . I have been building this truck for my daughter. for about 6 months. I just got out rebuilt monster transmission running. when I first put it in gear it jumped into forward and reverse very firm...
