LS Swap adding OEM cruise control
interesting.. I am curious on how you wired the swap? did you use an aftermarket harness? or did you use OG harness? I was thinking that I would go thru Dakota Digital for my cruise, but may check into what you are thinking as well- hip2bsquare

Dash pads
I beleive the USA-1 pads are the best... heard a lot of very good things about them on "other" forum. I will probably replace my '86's dash with one. here in the desert I have to be mindful of the quality & material due to the heat! I too am in the process of trying to "repair" my original dash...- hip2bsquare

1976 with a 4.8 LS swap info
brandon, hi I am new to the forum... a few months. I am currently in the middle of doing a 4.8/4l60 swap in my '86 2wd swb truck. it is ALOT more involved then I had thought as far as the wiring goes.- hip2bsquare

F daddy, thanks for the response & answers. I am attempting to use the stock linkage (TH350) too, it appears that I just need a solid bracket (about 2" long w/ 2 holes) to go from the 4L60 shift arm to the solid rod that clips to the steering shaft. i need the factory clips(4L60) as those were...- hip2bsquare
