What should my new seat be????

I've called around to the local yards and noon of them have the buckets I need.:whymewhyme::whymewhyme::whymewhyme: Those are gmt400 seats you're referring to correct? Are they an easy swap? The gmt800 looked like a huge pain in the ass.

What should my new seat be????

Alright I got a couple ideas where I wanna go with new seats in my truck. I have a broken ripped vinyl bench by the way. I understand the 89 to 91 suburban bucket seats are one of the easiest swaps. But they always come in a ridiculous "tacky" color. I want black or grey just something classy...

Bench and Bucket Seat Track Identification

Ever heard of anyone using one of the 90's dodge 40/20/40 seats with the fold down console?

Bench and Bucket Seat Track Identification

Gmt400? I read the GMT 800 write up and it is far more work than I want to and can afford to invest in.

Bench and Bucket Seat Track Identification

I like the idea of putting the suburban buckets in my truck and i LOVE the idea of a center console. But i ride 3 deep fairly often, any ideas on a fold down center console that would allow me to have a third seat?

    Thinking about Traction bars

Pics or it never happened.. But seriously did he extend the arms because there awfully short. Plus those 3 point hitch's are kinda sloppy.

    Thinking about Traction bars

Well idk if I will or not. I'm just judging costs of such a setup.

    Thinking about Traction bars

I was assuming heim joints at each end of the bars. I like that ladder bar setup above but I can't imagine that'd be cheap. I would imagine you would use bushings on the frame mount then 8 heim joints for the bars.

    Thinking about Traction bars

I've seen that setup before. It's hinged on the bracket so it doesn't bind but you still have the advantages of a ladder bar.

    Thinking about Traction bars

I've seen diy4x' s wraptor kit, looks like a great setup bit again too much money. I was unsure if one bar would solve my axle wrap issues. I'm thinking that would offer the best angle for the bar because you could just mount one end under the pinion on the axle, and the other end to the...

    Thinking about Traction bars

I don't do sled pulling or wheeling regularly but I'd like to be able to. It's my daily but it's got too much axle hop when the tires break loose. That's mainly what i want is to get rid of the axle hop.

    Thinking about Traction bars

I've been debating about building a set of traction bars for my truck. But the more i research, the more i realize how expensive they will be. Heim joints well over 100, bushings close to that, dom is pricey, plate steel is expensive. So is there a cheaper way of doing it? Or is it just that...

    Help with a new cluster

Makes sense. That should be a cheap date then. Should.. I'll try to dick around with that tomorrow see if I can get some of the gauges working

    Help with a new cluster

The only gauges that work on my cluster currently are the speedo, fuel gauge kind of, and volts. I have one of those autozone specials, oil, volt , and water temp gauge clusters and only the oil pressure works on that haha. My oil pressure line is a clear tube with oil in it so I'm assssuming...

    Help with a new cluster

I assumed most of the gauges were in good shape as gauges don't typically go bad. But the only reason i wanted to test it is i'm going to a different type of cluster. I currently have the 85 mph speedo, big fuel gauge, and dummy gauge. The new cluster has the tach 100 mph speedo and the rest of...

    Help with a new cluster

My only friend with a squarebody have a great relationship in which we always help each other with our trucks when they break down or just need some work. So we often trade parts as well. Today he gave me a mint cluster with a tach and all the gauges. The gauges appear to be in good condition as...

    What size clutch?

I'm not sure what size clutch I need and I'm hoping you guys could help me out. My truck came from the factory with a 305 and sm465. Currently it has a 350 in it. I know it needs either a 11 or 12 inch clutch. But other than pulling the transmission and measuring it I'm not sure or any ways to...

    Turn signal issues

Well I need to put a new ignition cylinder in anyways. For some reason I thought there was return springs that attached to the cancelling cam to reset the turn signals. I don't know why I think this as I've never had one apart...
