    I have separate my np208 from my sm465. I cant find the specific gaskets between the 465 and adapter or the gasket between the adapter and 208. When removing the 208 can i just drain the fluid from both and separate it between the tranny and adapter because i need to put in a new sm465 in? Then...

    I know there's a gasket between the adapter and the t-case. But is there a gasket between the tranny and adapter?

    Alright so the lines from the exhaust go to that valve above the air pump, then meet at that central spot then plug into the carb?

    Noise isn't coming from the rear end, and besides if i check something will be wrong.. kiddingg but no noise from the rear end at all. Also 40 in 3rd gear is perfectly fine but 40 in 4th sounds and feels like hell. All of which points to the transmission.

    Local guy has a tranny for 150 buckaroos which is exactly how much my paycheck is. how convenient... Did i mention none of my friends will want to help me after pulling my tranny a month ago because i blew up my clutch. I also don't have a heated garage so this should be fun.

    Figured it out and boy oh boy do i feel stuuupiiddd. They wiper itself had a spring that wrapped around the stud. i just had to bend the ends together to expand the spring and slide it off the stud...

    100% sure there's a cast plastic end. There's nothing that indicates to me that its a j hook. Which is what I had assumed it was.

    You can push the wipers in maybe an 1/8th.

    I know what your referring to there's a j on the end and it just clips in place but that's not it.

    In most of Pa your emissions equipment just has to be there. Doesn't matter if it actually works. This year i'm going to get a real inspection haha so i need to rig up the air pump. I figured brake lines with nuts welded to the ends resting on the manifolds would be enough to look like it works...
