wow...ya mine is a all manual truck. I was thinking about making my own kit when I suecide the doors but the more I look at there kit it seems a pretty detailed setup.
I have been looking at ways to do a single 1pc door glass on my 86 C10. A company called 1pc products sells a kit to do it but it is expensive as heck. They also have a flush mount rear window kit that is neat.
Anyone do the 1pc door glass or make there own kit??? Looking for ideas.
Cool.....you got me looking now at all GM guages that may fit. Do you think you could have tied the wiring into the factory printed board and used the factory plug?
Im assuming you mean 4speed, 5 spd, 6 spd ect?? Hurst, B&M, ect all sell shift knobs. Summit Racing, Jegs, Speedway, ect. or your local autoparts store can order one for ya.
I love this idea. Great work. What year are the guages so I can find a set and do this to my truck im building. I was going to use autometer guages but everyone has them and I like to be different. I seen a guy on the other site gonna sell these made like you did yours but im not paying what...
Any steamer will work you dont need a commercial one like I have......Guess ya could use a iron but dont touch the seat with it when making steam. The steam opens the pours in the material and the citrus cleaner disolves the grease....then vacuum it up and hit it with some simple green and it...
I have a upholstery shop and I would use a steamer and mist it with citrus cleaner and brush the cleaner in and steam it and vacuum and it will all raise out and not hurt the color
I have a sae & mm set of the matco & one of the guys at the shop bought a set from bluepoint (snapon guy)for half the price and I like his better because they are thinner.
I dont like the reverse knob on the side, I like to just flip the wrench
We are jacking this mans thread guys....lol I will post some pics this wekend. I do boats for a living so they dont excite me like other people unless my on the edge across the water. I have been trying to get the tbird done so I can get back on the truck.
Hey RAZZI What did ya decide on...
one of the best relationships you will ever make if your gonna be a motor guy is a not good but great machinist with good equipment. I go hunting and fishing with my machine shop guy because he is a very important part of what we do!
Is that rite....lol Well guess ya cant kick him in the sack for being educated and careful but ya shure can kick him in the sack for crying when it blows because he didnt listen rite!
That would be the smart thing to do. Dont waste ur hard earned money ok.
If you were close I would check it for ya for free. And go to a real machine shop if your gonna build over 400hp ok......Not Napa or others....They (napa, ect) may even send it out depending where u live and charge more.
