    454. I'm just a fan of how much torque it can produce. I like an engine that isn't built to the nuts and is more for reliability. I love diesels but I just don't like paying for their repair or rebuild bills.

    That's why when I retire from the Army I'll be moving back there. Plus they use sand for the roads instead of that cancer causing salt they apply so abundantly here in Utah.

    I'll second that. I had mine tested last week and the guy said they don't have emissions requirements on my engine. He was shocked to see a 454. Said it was the first one he has worked with. Any emissions equipment was just for cudos appearantly.

    What's your budget? If you want something that will cool better and fit in the stock locations I would look up an aluminum radiotor on summitracing or jegs. I'm looking for one right now for my 454 because it seems to have a crack in it I have yet to find. On average they will run 20 degrees...

    Ok. I'll probably go that route. I most defenitaly will get HD ones because I do intend to use it for towing. So any recomendations on shocks?

    Thanks for the info guys. I will probably be going with the 4" with a block in the rear. I just need to look into a shackle flip and see if I like that idea.

    Anybody know of a 4" 1 ton lift that's all springs and no lift blocks? I found one from skyjacker but I want to keep my options open. I don't want blocks because I want to avoid axle wrap as much as possible. I also want to keep as much of the 1 ton towing weight as possible.
