What ratio do I need?
I've got a '84 with 10 bolt front and rear. 305ci with a SM465 and a NP208 on it. I'd like to swap to a 350ci eventually, but not yet. I'm planning on putting 31" tires on it. This will be mostly a weekend around town/light farm use truck, but I'll occasionally have to go 60mph for about 40...- Pender1

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but what is considered a fair price for a complete used bed? The guy has a short bed and tailgate in primer for $300. It sounds like a good price to me but I'm still new to these trucks. -

Weatherproof my interior
I'm planning on putting down bedliner, so rotting out the floor isn't my worry. I'm more concerned about the insulation falling apart and having to replace it. I don't want to run just bed liner because of heat mostly. I'm just looking for something that won't fall apart and will keep out... -

Pretty much the whole interior of my '84 K10 is going to have to be redone anyways, so I figure while I'm at it I'll make it as weatherproof as I can. I want to run tube doors in the summer (no air conditioning and I live in SC), but I don't want getting caught in a little rain to destroy my... -

What have you done to your square lately??
Removed 4 trash bags worth of floor insulation, dirt, broken glass, straw, trash, random debris,... out of the bed and floorboard of my new '84. Getting it all cleaned up so I can decide where to start fixing it. -

Noob wheel question
So I would be ok getting a 15"x8" rim with a 4" or 5" offset and putting a 31"x10.5" tire on it? And just out of curiosity, are they uncommon and desirable, or uncommon because no one wants them?- Pender1

Noob wheel question
The whole wheel spacing/setback/etc. thing has always confused me. Can anyone tell me what the specs on the stock rim on a '84 K10 were? I've got the stock steel rims, but want to put something nicer on with the same spacing and size.- Pender1

New guy from SC with a '84 K10
bucket, I've got a problem with the ignition switch and the pinion in the rear end stripped on my drive home, but part of the buy was he's bringing me another rear end he had. It's got the factory 305 engine (I think) with a SM465 and a 208 TC. Overall I think I came out pretty good for that...- Pender1

New guy from SC with a '84 K10
Just bought a 1984 K10 Custom Deluxe for $1000. It's my fourth Chevy pickup, but my first square body. I've got big plans but, as you can imagine, for $1000 it came with it's share of issues. Looking forward to learning a lot here.- Pender1
