    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

Governor If I want to check the governor is it easy to remove? I heard that there is a plastic gear on it......Is this true? Seems like it would need to be replaced at some point. I'll look into it just to be certain. I did put more fluid in it, after tightening the bolts on the pan a little...

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

update! I moved my square so I could weed eat my yard and decided to take it around the block. I took it up to the point where it needed to shift and let off the accelerator and it shifted. this is after it sat for a few weeks and leaked a couple quarts of fluid.

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

My co-worker agreed to let me take the tranny and t-case and install it. I'd really like to pair the NP203 to the NP205. Would that mean that I would be able to keep that NP203 crawling gear?

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

Can't wait to get it and put it in! Pun intended! I'm fortunate that my coworker isn't actively trying to sell it. I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse.

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

I would like to switch to a NP205. My co-worker has a TH400/NP205 that he wants $500 for I'm going to tell him to let me install it and if it works I'll give him $500 for it. Will the drive lines work with the new setup? How do I start a under construction thread? I've always wrenched on my own...

    Kickdown Cable Bracket

@ firebane. What type of throttle linkage are you using in the picture. Mine is a cable so I'm wondering if I could switch up to that type?

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

Yes I bought the truck knowing nothing about it, had it towed to my house I never drove it and it sits in my yard as a project. I knew when I bought it that it would need some work to get it drivable. This gives me a chance to do everything and learn how to build a square.

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

Sorry, no it didn't work before I changed it.I just didn't know because I only drove it around my yard but thinking back on the times that I did drive it around the yard, it felt like it had granny gear.

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

I've only driven it a couple of times, once to move it around the corner from the back yard to the front, and a couple of times moving it around the yard. I did however spin the tires a few times just to see if it would. Looking back now I wish I wouldn't have. I havethe yellowish type filter...

    Kickdown Cable Bracket

The bracket I bought looks like the one pictured with the Edlebrock carb. I also have a Eddy carb but accelerator cable bracket is attached to the back of the carb. Will the stock kickdown cable bracket still work?

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

It's a TH350. It did have the filter gasket installed wrong when I changed the fluid. I pulled the pan and took the filter off to find the old gasket blocking one of the holes. I also found the bottom of the pan covered in a black film. The kick down cable is not and was not connected. The...

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

Yes this was the first fluid change I've done on it, and to top it all off the last person that changed it, before I bought it, put the gasket under the filter on upside down and backward so that one of the two holes was covered. That couldn't be good! Hope my tranny is still ok! Sent from my...

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

Thanks, I have the TH350 and I re-checked the fluid level today since I don't drive it and I've only driven it down my street once or twice in the 2 years or so that I've had it (It's a project that I'm just getting around to starting) fluid level was @ the hot line and the engine was cold. I...

    Foamy Tranny Fluid!!!!

I think I over filled it I put 5 quarts in it after the filter change. Of coarse I ran it after I got a low fluid reading on the stick and kept adding a little at a time and it kept reading low so I dumped the rest in. As I poured the rest of the 5th quart it got to where it wouldn't go down...

    Kickdown Cable Bracket

That is the one that I bought, it bolts to the intake I hope because that's where I bolted it. I used the longer bolts that were in the K15 that I got the bracket from since the bolts that were in my intake were shorter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Vacuum modulator on th350

Thanks, yeah I went to the auto dismantler and got an original bracket off a K15 it doesn't have the accelerator cable hole in it though only the kickdown and a hole for the brake booster hose so there were definately different brackets on different year/models. Also unfortunately for me I do...
