Turbo 400 VSS conversion for cheap for the RetroC10?
I know for the t-cases you just need a pair of snap-ring pliers (the kind with the flat blades that spread the rings) to remove the snap-ring and it just slides off the shaft..... Don't know about in the trans though.... Can't imagine it being that different though...- Joeairforce

Nope not factory.... Sounds like it's for the aftermarket fan a P/O installed.... It's easy enough to route stuff into the factory loom if the time is taken to do so...- Joeairforce

I've got the TCM for one out of a '93 6.5TD truck. '91-93 6.2/6.5 3/4T trucks is where you need to look for the TCM. It was stand-alone for the trans those years.... Anything newer and it controls the engine too...- Joeairforce

I replaced the one on mine almost a year and a half ago now... Mine's a tailgate one but should be similar.... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3866951#post3866951 You'll have to either jack the body up a few inches or do like I did (since I had to replace that panel anyway)...- Joeairforce
