Thanks for the advice. I never considered body mounts. Guess it's worth an inspection. Are they difficult to change? I went ahead and ordered a complete front suspension package from Performance Online. For the front: Upper and lower tubular control arms, 1 inch drop coils, 2 1/2 inch spindles and lowered shocks. Evening everyone, I'm about to pull the trigger on some parts to rebuild/upgrade the suspension & lower my 87 R10 and I've got a few questions. I am looking at wanting to improve the handling of my truck, replace worn out parts and lower the truck roughly 2 1/2 - 3" up front & 4" in the rear...- Merlin3e9

Vibration at 70mph+
Did this problem get better? Ever figure out what the vibration was? My 87 R10 vibrates from 60-65. Had the tires rotated and balanced, but it didn't go away. Tire shop thinks the tires have flat spots from sitting. I'm disappointed because the tires still have a lot of tread left.- Merlin3e9

New Tonneau Cover for "Ole Blue"
Just thought I'd post a couple pictures of my new bed cover for my 87 R10, aka..."Ole Blue" Out with the old and outdated fiberglass cover and in with a sleeker more modern rolling vinyl tonneau cover. Also ditched the plastic drop-in liner and had the bed Rhino-lined... So much nicer!! -

Thanks for the information on the lights. Question though... Hella indicates "High/Low", so would I just use different wattage bulbs for the high/low since the 87's have quad headlights? There are other headlamps listed on the sight that specify "High Beam", but none that specify "Low Beam"...- Merlin3e9
