:STFU: :laughing1:
Yeah the whole point of the project was really to put a 6 inch lift on it and it kinda rolled into doing the axles too because i wanted to do it right. Hopefully it'll take another paycheck or so but well see.
The guy who put it in said its a good one and ill probably never wear it out.
And no i aint cuz i have to get money for a lift kit...so right now everythings on jackstands...
Oorah ya'll.
I actally got the auburn installed and just got it back monday...its an auburn posi (i dont remember what model) and the shop who installed it said it had a lifetime warranty but ill ask him about it when i talk to him again.
I actually just got my axles regeared with 4.56s so i am very interested in seeing how this all works for you. I will definately see if i can find one of these bad boys
Well that aint bad. I have a 208 behind a 465 right now and was eventually considering a NV4500...but if i could find one of these and it bolts right in place of the 465 and keep my bellhousing and clutch id be loving life. i just read through this whole thread again and am more interested than...
That makes sense. I like a trans i can shift quick. How would this do as far as offroad use? I know first isn't as low but would it work in 4-lo with a low enough rear gear? aint tryin to jack just find this appealing as well.
I've looked around and haven't found anything about installing a tach. if i missed it i apologize for starting a new thread. But can anyone tell me how to install a tach on an 84 square with a 350? thanks.
I'm curious about why you choose this trans. Is it because its rare and you find it cool or because of something else? It just seems to me a NV4500 would be better. I aint haitin i'm just curious as to the Pros and Cons of this trans.
Mine are in between the crossmember and frame almost like a drop kit. I'm just trying to figure out whats on there already when i get the new lift kit.
This is kinda related to lifted springs and springs in general. My brother is having a problem on his truck where he cant get the bushings our of the rear springs. What do ya'll do to bushings out? he needs his truck running soon...
ill be running a 6 inch now and an 8 eventually. I just wasnt sure if it would all work without dropping something. Would just a regular T case drop kit work? I've heard bad things about them.
