Which carb to buy?
I got a 670 Street Avenger Holley I intend to run on my 2wd with a 350. I have even thought about getting a carb intake for an LS and still running the Holley.- TravisB

My cherry picker ram has leaked since I got it so I used this as an excuse to get an air over hydraulic ram to replace it from harbor freight. Also ordered one of their one drawer tech carts to try out also. I’ll snap some pics when I get them and put it all together. -

Advice for rebuilding a 350 on a budget
This is what I am leaning towards. What did you use to clean it out? Mine isn't in big chunks like that. Glittery oil is more accurate for what mine looked like inside when the valves started chattering.- TravisB

The yz found itself a new home yesterday. I suppose this thread is done now. The KTM won for the trail riding I do and the wife was convinced I couldn't ride both at the same time but she was unwilling to let me try :happy175:- TravisB

Got everything wrapped up last night except fixing the forks really highlighted how bad the rear shock is. :( I still need to get a rear fender since the one that came on it was for a newer bike and didn't fit good and now rebuild the rear shock but pretty good. I have heard it running now! Need a new gasket on the waterpump drain. It's dripping, failed to get a new one in the first place so it's my fault. Waiting on some other odds and ends to come in the mail now and a petcock rebuild kit and I will be calling this thing done.- TravisB

Well I got my frame painted and ready for things to start going back together. Got the new piston a couple days ago and the cylinder and things should be here before long. It'll be ready in no time unless I get distracted.- TravisB

He's not replied to my email so I went ahead yesterday and ordered a new factory cylinder and piston kit. His website says they are not closed for Covid-19. Well, I think I learned a lesson from the machine shop I thought I could trust. Went to get my cylinder and piston yesterday and they tell me they couldn't do what I wanted. They tried boring it and said it just flaked chrome off and wasn't going to work... Evidently looking at it, and my call...- TravisB

You had me worried enough to call the machine shop and find out what the story was. Evidently my bike already has a steel sleeve in it so they are just boring it a bit to fit a .20 over piston.:shrug:- TravisB
