    I adjusted my TV cable and after test driving I noticed the shift point for 1-2 is around 10-15mph, 2-3 is around 25-30 mph, 3-4 is around 45-50,and this is driving with a light acceleration. The kick down (passing) worked and it did downshift. Doing a more moderate acceleration the shift points...

    I am going to look for a more sporty type rim. The ones on it are 14's and I have the beauty bands for them, might go up to 15's, but nothing bigger than 15's.

    Since it has the 2.73 rear, my 358 wouldn't work well with it, but I can use the 300HP 283 that I have. I'm hoping the 4.3 runs well with no issues. I bought a new gas tank and fuel sender unit for it.

    I did this 5 years ago, all I did was remove the clutch pedal and all the rods. Mine was a three speed on the column.

    What I could find is that the NV3500 wasn't introduced until 93. Mine seems to be a 5LM60. I also looked upped the RPO codes for the rear and found that I have the 2.73.

    Headers? worth the effort & cost?

    I'm taking headers off the 73 and going with stock exhaust manifolds. Headers get in the way of changing spark plugs in my opinion. I put stock exhaust on the 85 and was a lot easier to get to the plugs.

    I looked in the 73 today, it didn't have any type safety switch for the clutch.

    While I was under it today, I noticed that the slave cylinder lines were on the drivers side and looked to be an internal slave.

    I'm thinking on dropping in a V8, depending on how this 4.3 runs. If it runs good with no issues, will leave it in. If it runs bad, V8 time.

    I switched the 73 C10 from manual to Auto. I'm not sure if it had the safety switch. Any idea what it would look like?
