    Killian, grind a radius on each spring where is rides on the next spring so that is rides smoothly and doesn't "dig in the the lower spring. If the lowers have a small groove, grind that out. I use teflon between, made a HUGE difference as my springs were really gouged.

    I would drill and tap to the next size, stay with whatever the thread pitch was, coarse or fine. I'm not quite sure what you are talking about specifically, if it is high stress thread it, if low stress, Like Rick said, Helicoil (good), Keen Sert thick series, (better).

    Also, when you first turn on the key, you will here a click which is the glow plug controller, locater on drivers side rear of engine. I had to replace mine. Also if your block heater is not working, replace it, had to do that to, not a terribly job.
