man this makes me want to fire up ol Smokey 77 oil burning rat fer a truck 70 miles or so 2 quarts oil . i dont bother changing that oil i just add the stuff ive saved from other oil changes :party52:HAHA,,, humm maybe i should change the filter :driver:,,,, naaaa its still good...- sidschev

ill say it again piss poor design............. failed hoods every where...... you could say all that crap with there fuel tanks tooo .................look at what happens FIRE burn baby burn. -

fuel tank swap
cool. ill have to get out there when the rain stops and look the 77 over to see what to remove an take some measurements while im there . the bed on the 84 has a spot inside where there could be a filler hose ,its a hump and the other side has same. i may order a new side panel with filler door...- sidschev

fuel tank swap
ok here we go.. my 84 gmc has an after market fuel tank on right side... I want to remove that plastic tank (its cracked ) and replace it with my steel tank from my 77 chevy truck (spare parts rig ) is this doable ? Will it interchange. ? i know i will have to change out the sender for a three...- sidschev

Fix Slamming Doors - Striker Door Latch Repair
haha I just added blue pex to my doors and oh my gosh ,,,,,,ITS like night and day what a great fix no more slamming doors . Thank you , Thank you i could not believe this was such an easy fix. The doors close so easy now.....this should be a sticky or sumtum.....- sidschev

HAHA problem is where i live there are no level roads i live in mountain /hill/ rolling roads hahaha I have to park and wait a bit to see just how much fuel is in there even then its a ? Ill just carry extra fuel just in case......- sidschev

Thanks ill look into this as well. i dont have my dash out so im researching as much as i can. i have dual tanks but i want to remove the after market tank. i just dont like it. i have a bunch of electronics stuff so just need to research more.
