Installing Tach in a Non-Ghetto Way?
Not sure if you found what you are looking for. I’m just reading all posts looking for ideas for my c10. But summit has an oem style 8k tach to replace the fuel guage and can get a small oem style fuel guage for the clock/blank spot on lower left corner.- 84_c10_GMC

The summit tach is 3 wires off back of the guage. Ground power and signal wire. Other post on here used an inline fuse that plugged into your guage fuse panel and kept the original fuse also. And used the wire off the 2nd fuse to power the tach. Signal wire obviously goes to the distributor. So...- 84_c10_GMC

I haven’t seen any small oem style. But I believe Holley/brothers had some that will fit in the oem guage holes.- 84_c10_GMC

Thanks for the info. I was gonna go the route of pinning on the main gauge panel plug to get the wires to the new fuel gauge. And then run new wires for the tach. I found someone else post doing similar after I posted this. They used oem gauges off another truck. Although it appeared they...- 84_c10_GMC

hello, Has anyone used the summit retro gauges to replace their square body gauges? I am looking at replacing my large fuel gauge with the tachometer and the small clock with a small fuel gauge. 1982 c10 drive shaft length
That doorman that measures 75” how are they measuring that? I have an 84 c10 with the 6” th350 I need a shaft for and I’m measuring u joint to u joint 72”. But I’m using a 5” slip yoke pulled out 1”. It says I need that same 75” shaft. But just seems like it would be long.- 84_c10_GMC
