    Motor Mounts Won't Line Up!

I’m with @bucket i was blown away how hard it was dropping an engine in my 73. Big bars and a lot of cussing. I played hell getting mine In. I wanna say I ended up loosening everything and still had a hard time getting the two big bolts to slip in. But I definitely used every large bar in my...

APB - Check your cowl seam seals!

I used construction adhesive. I think it was gorilla or lock tite. Hardest part is getting the edges closest to the fender area. Also construction adhesive doesn’t “smear” well so if you’re used to caulking it’s NOT like that. It’s more like urathane sealer.

    91’ suburban 6.0 ls swap

DONT SWAP THE DASH! The 91 has the appropriate speedometer for the Ls engine. and all the other senders work perfect. You HAVE the golden dash that people pay good money for 200-450

    Cutting a hole....

Thank you very much. I’m going to get some fresh wheels for the dremel and get to it. I also need to extend the wiring for the switch. It don’t make it to the factory location. I drilled the hole through the firewall too far away.

Where-Oh-Where are the 1973 Parts Listings?

For mine. I used the 75 dash bezel. I used shears to cut the bottom of the dash under the wiper switch. I folded that piece I cut down. Lowered the switch about 1/4” and self drilled some screws to mount the switch in the new spot. If you don’t use this method you will not be able to attach the...

    Cutting a hole....

For the dual tank switch. I’m nervous about this one. Does anyone have a measurement of the opening? Im plumbing in the selector valve and all that good stuff. But I’ve been procrastinating due to this hole. I’m even pondering just tucking the switch under the dash

Lmfao. Call them back and say oh man. I was mistaken my trucks actually ( Insert covered vehicle here). How do I return it? I think a big company that won’t just accept a 35 dollar part is a lame ass company. They make more by honoring a warranty and and keeping a customer and not losing more...

    1976 with a 4.8 LS swap info

I did mine and have done a few others, my recommendation was more for someone that feels overwhelmed by the task. I have seen too many people quit a project because of the wiring.
