Thanks for the input, I don't know what my gear ratio is but will figure that out when I get it back. Also will be finding out what kit he plans on. Hello all, I have a 1992 700r4 in the shop for a rebuild, currently waiting its turn... It is a 1992 tranny, being put in a 89 v2500 with a 4" lift and 35" tires, with HD Trans cooler. So not to sure, but I looked and saw a tag on the front It has 45-11 4.09 rear has markings of cfd 9690 and gm2 ,and has 14 bolts.The fenders were pushed in assuming for the tire clearance. Changing over sounds exactly like a can of worms I don't really want to smell. So I might keep that...- beachsuburban

Very interesting so far... So there are 3 wires coming out of the trans, only the green one is connected, now wondering what they did that for? We take it on the beach all summer, so alot of sand. Most all trucks take air out to drive, I leave mine set around 32psi and was always good on and...- beachsuburban

so i found a parts list here http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/csb/full.aspx?Page=21 part 32 is where i'm concerned, i know i could just buy it but i already have the energy suspension kit. Hi and thanks in advance. Got an 89 suburban, replacing the body mounts. I have a tailgate. My rear body mounts are so bad so I am replacing. I got the performance energy bushing kit but of course, it does not come with the hardware with this. Im supposed to reuse the factory bolts and washers...- beachsuburban
