    wheel and tire help

    On stock suspension with no lift - 33"s will fit, that is what I have on mine. Its really tight. I have 33x9.5x15's on mine, I would much rather have 31x10.5x15's though. The 33s are just a little too big and they are so tall it gives me fits with my 700r4 and 3.42 gears.

    Also - the stock 1800-1850 lb springs are 6-leaf as well. So you could have either rating. There is a 5 leaf spring, which is actually stronger - 2150 lbs - as well.

    I have the 6-leaf springs on mine. I looked at the rating, it is 2200 lbs, not 2350 like I thought. There is a 7-leaf spring available in the 52" size, which is rated for 2775 lbs, I thought that was probably overkill and went with the 2200. Stock K10 springs are around 1800-1850 lbs I believe.

    I bought my replacement springs from General Spring online. They are nice and well built. I think they are around half of what LMC costs. I got the HD 1/2 ton springs for mine (I think 2350 lbs over stock 1800 lbs per spring) as I use mine as a farm truck.

    If you decide to go with a 4" lift, I have a Rough Country kit off my K10 that I would sell. Has less than 2k miles on it. I re-used the bolts to install the stock springs back in, so you would need to get your own of those.

    Its not the stick on foam, but its pretty similar. Its a stick on rubber, on the shelf right next to the foam. I almost used the stick on foam, but spent extra for the rubber. i was a little worried the foam wouldnt last and that air may blow right through it.

    I hate wind noise in the cab, so I bought some generic weatherstripping from the parts store the other day. Installed it on the door front where the door meets the cab, its like a 2nd seal. The difference is amazing, I recommend this to anyone. Much quieter now.

    Looking for a very mild cam upgrade. If that is going to push me to 300 hp, maybe I could cut out one of my items there. Although my thought is that I need them all as they will work together. Any thoughts - maybe the Ported TB is overkill?

    Hello all, I have a Autometer Tach to install in my 87' V10. What does everyone use for power source on these? I believe i need to tap into the lights, power and ground. Is there a common spot to connect all these wires? I'd prefer something which can be reached without tearing out the dash.
