EFI Dual Tank Conversion, need help on power 4 the pumps.

So how did you end up wiring this up? I installed a Pro Flo 4 system last year and have been running on a single, external pump since then, butthats just not cutting it. Yesterday I bit the bullet and ordered two new tanks, pumps, senders and sets of mounting brackets and straps from Tanks, Inc...

    Leaf spring removeal

I did all four of mine last year and replaced with Poly. The fronts both came out fine, as somebody before me had already replaced with poly. The rears were an absolute nightmare. I had to cut both the heads and nuts off both sides, and then use an acetylene torch to burn out the old bushings...

Simplified dual tank with sniper EFI

Just finished installing my PF4 last month, with a frame mounted fuel pump. The frame mounted pump is not cutting it. It gets too hot and stops working properly. I'm looking now into replacing both fuel tanks with these...

    TV cable and bracket help

I just wanted to update on this. I went ahead and ordered all three of the parts I liked above - the Edelbrock carb adapter, the TV bracket, and the TV cable. It cost 167$ after shipping, and took a few days to get here. Quality wise, the cable is ok. The bracket was just cheap made in Taiwan...

    TV cable and bracket help

Is that the 8031 that Turbo3Whl linked? And thank you for the info, both of you. I actually saw this: https://www.tciauto.com/tv-cable-corrector-kit-for-700r4-2004r-transmissions-edelbrock-carburetor.html Is this something that should work for me? Edited to add: I found this YouTube video...

    TV cable and bracket help

I've been reading about the 700R4 trans and how important it is to have the TV cable properly lined up and adjusted. After looking at a few pictures, mine doesn't look right. I was hoping somebody could help me and let me know how I should fix this. I wouldn't mind just buying a new TV cable...

    Help with instrument cluster - 77 K10

It does have blade and not glass. I just got finished taking a look at all the wiring - it's is an absolute rat's nest. I don't know how I'm going to get that sorted out.

    Help with instrument cluster - 77 K10

I actually saw this table a few days ago, but some things don't line up - my dark blue wire is on pin 12, which is not listed on that table anywhere. Dark blue only shows as 1, 3 or 5 on the table. Also, I have two pink wires at pin 18, and the table doesn't show pink at pin 18 anywhere. Any...

    Help with instrument cluster - 77 K10

My main concern is the possibility that the previous owner threw 81-84 gauge assembly in there, without replacing the harness. Can anybody tell from the pictures I posted whether that is the harness for a 77, or the harness for an 81-84?

    Help with instrument cluster - 77 K10

I am adding a few more pics I took of the cluster wiring harness, hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. I also read in a post from here that the 77 only came factory with a mechanical oil pressure gauge - electric didn't start until 78. Mine is electric, and is one of the only...

    Help with instrument cluster - 77 K10

That's correct, the spot on the bottom left where the clock would be has not been punched out. So should I be getting the circuit board for a 83-84? Or should the 77 board work on the cluster housing that I have? Here are a few pics I just took of what I pulled out https://imgur.com/O5Y4S4Q...

    Help with instrument cluster - 77 K10

I am trying to buy a new printed circuit board for my 77 K10. I had LMC Truck email me a picture of the boards they have for 77, but it doesn't match up to what I have. I found a number on my old board, and Googling brings this up, which is exactly what mine looks like...

Trying to fix up dual tank fuel system

Bruce - Thank you for the response. Just reading about the path your wiring takes makes me think mine has been messed with. Both of my fuel sending wires run up the driver side frame rail. Also, each wire has probably three or four splices in it, that are just twisted together and exposed. No...

Trying to fix up dual tank fuel system

I did find a few places online that show a picture of the correct single wire, six port fuel selector valve, but in every case, they listed the incorrect part number (the same is true for the WalMart link above, just take a look at the reviews) Unfortunately, before I even got a chance to test...

Trying to fix up dual tank fuel system

Thank you. Unfortunately, I can't read a wiring diagram to save my life. It may as well be Chinese. I think I have everything figured out except the switching valve. I wanted to replace it, but it seem that the six port one wire valves are impossible to find anymore

Trying to fix up dual tank fuel system

So then I should be seeing a single wire from each sending unit hding towards the cab to tie into the selector switch, and from there they head into the gauge? Thanks for the welcome!

Trying to fix up dual tank fuel system

I appreciate the advice, but I'm just going to buy new sending units anyway. The one I pulled out already must have been original - the "filter sock" part is just shredded and the whole thing looks like it's in rough shape. I'm just going to buy two new units and the new valve, that way I know...

Trying to fix up dual tank fuel system

I bought a 77 K10 a few weeks ago, and decided I want to start fixing it up slowly. The main issue I've been having is a fuel delivery problem, which I think I've solved with a new fuel pump. The fuel gauge does not work, and I think that's the next issue I want to tackle. The truck has dual...
