I see what youre saying, makes sense. Thats the ideal outcome. I was just thinking, next time ill mount it to the booster and run the clear lines to the top and bleed the air that way, I didn't mean hook everything up dry -

Loose driveshaft?! Take a look
change ALL the U Joints! i lost one on the freeway, no bueno! smashed my tranny! grabbed all my fuel lines,brake lines running to the back, made a pretty mean dent in the frame too! (posted on here somnehwhere) dont mess around with that, change all the ujoints and see how it rides after...- 79K10

good to know, thanks ... guess its a good one then!... haha i wont be doing that again ... It didnt seem to take too many pumps the clear the air out. Is the bench bleed really that necessary? I feel like it would have been the same as if i had just installed it and done the bleed with the... -

i did mine just like that, i didnt know you couldnt push it all the way, i did, seems ok lol ... those clear hoses, pointed plugs and clamp came with the MC -
seat swapping?!
so seats are awesome, now i just need to hook up the power lumbar support. looks like a hot and a ground and thats it. guess ill wire it to the ignition hot, or throw a switch on it too so i dont have power running to the seat all the time, would it make a difference? -
What have you done to your square lately??
did the water pump today wtf is up with the timing tab? I think i see "0" in the first dip up from the bottom. smh new pump in... I usually would have painted all this stuff but im in a rush to get it back on the road -

Tick at start-up
sounds like a lifter, are you running really thin oil? could try a little thicker, or pull the valve cover and check ... i had one that would tick every once in a while on my k10, low oil level could bring it on too- 79K10

Blower motor
i think its either 102 or 105, go look and see what shape your housing is ... or i can look at mine in the morning and let you know ... or post up a pic of the blower motor from under the hood and we should be able to tell -

anyone have this happen? not sure if i bought a shit gauge or i have a sticking thermo, air pocket, or blockage ... temp will chill at 190, then shoot up to 240 then come back to 190 after about a minute... does this pretty consistently ... what the hell is that about?- 79K10

What have you done to your square lately??
old water temp gauge wasnt working (never has), i went and got a new one... i was gonna try and fix the old one too but i ran over when i went to the gas station lol oh i hooked up the volt meter last night, ran wires to the fuse block and ground by the brake assembly ... its reading kinda... -

swapped out the MC ... im a little worried i went too tight and started to strip the threads coming out of the booster... how bad would that bad? fml ... anyway, im sure ill need to bleed the whole system out asap, but it was dark and i was done for the night war wounds from the lid of the... -

ill keep an eye out for the complete doors i think, maybe ill get lucky and find some... untill i get this thing timed, carb to stop flooding and the master cylinder swapped out, PW will be on hold lol -

painted the door panels, made a 98 silverado seat fit, hooked up the volt gauge -
Engine won't startt. Getting spark and starting fluid doesn't help....
oh yeah for sure. i was just saying it took a min to start when i ran the lines dry... i thought he said he ran out of gas right?- 79K10

Thanks! the car gods were with me on this one, a little sawing and drilling, and it was a damn near perfect fit .... thanks everyone else for all the input... I think my carbs flooding out, its ok if im crusing around 40, but at stops it starts to bog down, sometimes i have to hold it on the... -

thanks man! this was the best advice for the seat swap! so i took the brackets off the 82 gmc parts truck at my bros house. they were about 4" too long on the top of the rail that bolts to the seat i bolted the outer back ear to the stock hole on the newer seat heres a better shot of the... -
Rattle noise on cold start & going from forward to rev.
maybe the heat shield by the cat, or the cat itself it going bad ... if it does it in park on cold start, climb under and see... could also be a broken exhaust hanger- 79K10

Engine won't startt. Getting spark and starting fluid doesn't help....
i ran my stepside completely dry on one side once, took forever to start, i think the pump just drains the lines all the way back to the tank and then when you switch tanks, it takes a lot of cranking to pull fuel all the way back to the motor... just a thought- 79K10
