    i couldnt wait... I ended up using some duct tape. wrapped it around the striker about 4 or 5 times and now the door closes nicely, no slamming required ... ill be getting the pex to replace it next time i go to HD.. nice fix. thanks for the info

    well i think ill leave em for now, if i see anything coming up ill seal em up... next thing i think ill do is get my distributor back in, seems like it might be better to do it before the carb? Ill have to find TDC again, trick i use is pulling the plug, sticking my finger on it and cranking...

    i can deal with pulling out the bolts and rtv ing them but what about the little metal heat restrictors? i blocked one side but forgot the other. will i be ok?

    Just had a bad thought about the intake I put on today... Im pretty sure I only put one side of manifold heat restricters in, I'm pretty sure the one the the drivers side is on the bench. Ok so it'll run the same with one heat restrictor on and one off? Should just slow the flow right? Please...

    hey, at least its under the truck. PITA and its heavy! and my jack was going up 1/2'' per pump, and i need a gasket and the parts store only sells the full kit which i dont need! anyone know a website that sells just the adapter plate gasket... im off monday so im hoping to get it in there

    intake was a PITA! the bolt by the egr was burried in crap, i had to use a screw driver and hammer to chip it away
