    Vortec with TBI?

Carb intake will cost you EGR, and a custom tune is mandatory. You will love it though.

Using stock speedo VSS in place of transfer case output VSS?

Got an 84 C10 that I'm planning on swapping onto a 4x4 chassis, I'll be using a 94 K3500 TBI harness to swap in the 80e. Originally transfer case in the donor had a VSS on the output shaft, this won't work with the stock speedo add it is cable driven. I've read somewhere before that you could...

auto locking hub to oem hub with NP203

What you're not understanding is that converting to full time 4x4, is not going to make it handle like an audi. That lack of turning radius you didn't like in 4 high in your part time truck will be a constant lack of turning radius in a full time truck. Comparing a 40 year old truck to an...

    305TBI to 350TBI

My 94 has an L31 crate engine in it., fed by a modified stock throttle body. Performer RPM intake, adjustable fuel pressure regulator. It does require PCM tuning, but it's all worth it. So much more power than a stock L03 or L05.

Going from Quadrajet to Edelbrock 600cfm

A quality remanufactured QJet will not only run better, but it will not require any modification to install, and once it's set that's it, no need to mess with it ever again.

    Axle + shackle flip

If you have the 3 hole perches, move the center on to the front hole, you won't get a cleaner install than that.

    1980 K10 Exhaust

In that case, they're probably just going to look for a converter, muffler, and an intact AIR system if equipped. Pipe diameter and routing are probably not a concern.

    1980 K10 Exhaust

Not sure why you want to go to a single 2.5" exhaust though. Any special reason?

    1980 K10 Exhaust

He's looking for the part that has "NA" where the part number is on that diagram... That means it is not available. Try finding a Goerlich exhaust catalog, perhaps it will have it listed. Is it possible it's just a straight length of pipe? I don't see why the 117.5" chassis version, with a...

    Thumpr cams

L79 cam seems to be the go to cam for high school rides. Lol that's what mine had in it. Milled 882 heads, 12cc pistons, worked QJet, Edelbrock intake, headers, 2500 stall in the TH350, and 3.08 gears. Would surprise many a Mustang and Camaro, and I was one of only a few in the parking lot...

    1988 bbc tbi power

The Roush cars are actually fairly tame on the street for the power numbers. Go from a Stage 3 to a Shelby GT500... 662HP (only 100 more HP) goes from street friendly performance car to retarded power in a hurry.

Rear Axle Bearing Play Some or None?

That only works on a full floating axle, there is no adjustment for a semi floating rear axle. There should be a tiny bit of play, but too much could mean a worn differential cross shaft, or wear on the end of the axle shaft.

    Single Fill Dual tanks

GM did not offer the solution, someone added it after the fact if that is how your tanks are plumbed. Nothing I've ever seen in any GM literature regarding this option, and I've seen this question pop up at least a dozen times over the last 15 years.
