    Stupid diff question :(

I'd say grow up, and laugh every time your buddy has to replace his tires. That's just me though.

    cold air intakes

Seriously, if you want a good "cold air" system, build a box that houses a traditional round filter. Seal it to the bottom of the hood, and to the firewall. Make sure to leave enough space to allow for engine movement. Now cut into the wiper cowl under the hood to allow fresh air into your...

    cold air intakes

Good sound advice right here... Filters are for sissies. While you're at it, next time you're engine is running, grab the fan belt. I'll bet it works out pretty similar for your fingers.

    SM465 cab swap

I've got a removable hump, and the flange for it I just cut out of the floor of my 80 cab if you need one.

Post your toys, square or not

that thing is sick! My dad has a 73 SX125 that I've got to get over here and get it going again. My cousin got it new from his parents as a graduation present in the 70s, and ended up trading it to my dad in the late 70s. Dad gave it to another cousin as his first bike. He later became a...

    70's, 80's, and 90's Show Trucks.

That's actually a local truck. Been around for years, and it's kind of a hack job. He's got another truck too, calls it "evil twin" and it's considerably better built.

    Awd gmt400?

Kinda late to the party, but better late than never. Swapping hubs in attempt to run 5x5 2wd wheels isn't going to get you far. IF the stub shaft fits the inner splines, you're going to have to come up with calipers and rotors to match the new 5 lug hubs. After all of that, you're still going...

    sbc 350 temps

uh no... A lean mixture will burn faster than a rich mixture, based simply on the fact that there is more fuel to burn. Which drinks faster? A shot of tequila, or a fifth? without every laying you're hands on the truck, or parking your keister in the drivers seat, an assumption like that is...

    binding problem

If the spiders were "gone" and "nothing was holding the axles in" the truck wouldn't move. The carrier would just spin on the shafts.

    sbc 350 temps

Why do you want it to run cooler? 210 is right about where they run from the factory.

spread bore to square bore adapter

That's the 1405. just tried the 750 I've got here for the firebird, same thing, 1/4 throttle. Bolts right on though.

    Wtf Bfg allterrain split

Discount has a corporate policy to not touch a tire that is over 10 years old... And there is no way of telling how out out balance a tire was when it is failed.

spread bore to square bore adapter

Pretty sure you can bolt a 1406 to a stock intake. No adapter needed.

    Factory ac or no??

What does the tag say on the compressor? I've seen compressors made by Sanden, and Harrison. That looks like neither to me. At any rate, you'd be best off with a York compressor, as they are internally oiled, and won't rely on the refrigerant to carry oil for their internals. Most likely, that...

Disabled 4 cylinders on a TBI motor :) MPG Gain???

I why wouldn't it work? Nothing it's telling the ECM that 4 cylinders are missing. It thinks it's firing a live injector, thinks it's sucking in through 2 bores, and exhaling through 8 exhaust Ports. As stated above, the oxygen sensor looks at quality, not quantity. So long as the manifolds...

Disabled 4 cylinders on a TBI motor :) MPG Gain???

It's an imaginary number. You cannot accurately measure horsepower by itself. Anything that measures horsepower actually measures torque, and then inserts it into the equation... Horsepower = (torque x rpm)/5252

    Axle swap for gear ratio

Disabled 4 cylinders on a TBI motor :) MPG Gain???

Horsepower will not increase economy. Torque in the operating range will. Horsepower is just an imaginary number based on torque and rpm.

rough country brake line extension bracket

Buy 88 C1500 lines. Cheap alternative, and it will be done right, rather than a band aid bracket.
