    The halo lights are a separate 12 v circuit so you can wire them to a switch or a key-on ignition source for day lights or just for when you want to show them off.

    Sweet that thing looks awesome! :) If you have the divorced choke. The vacuum port on the passenger side that protrudes through the choke assembly is for the temperature valve in the air cleaner. Whether it is full or ported vacuum Im not sure off the top of my head.

    There was never no Johnny Lightning truck. Nor factory blocks in the front or rear for that matter in those years. Hope you didn't pay for the lightning The truck looks like its in good shape tho!!! :) Ditch the front blocks as those are illegal and can be dangerous.

    No that is not the correct bumper for your 79' and there is a difference in the frame horns between the 2 types. Im sure you can make it work but you will have to modify. Im thinking that if you get the frame horn ends with the bumper that you might be able to make it work with out too...

    I don't know what you did lol but no it should just come off. Its a lot easier to remove when the unit is still in the truck. Its just glued well and now you don't have the leverage with it being disassembled.

    FYI you should buy the bushing for the tail shaft and see if that shop teacher cant press it out and in for you.

    OH scratch that thought! :) I was thinking 241 uhmm you should be able to tap it with a rubber mallet or try using a small steel putty knife and gently try and work it under with a few taps from a hammer. Its obviously just glued really well lol so you just need to work at it. Maybe try...
