Theres no way that's a 4" lift cause its de arched or sagged. A 4" lift spring will have a definite positive arch. -

Well if your engine mounts are bent/twisted/pulled then I think your frame is probably toast. You would have to take it right down to the bare frame to properly see the extent of the damage. Even if you did get it mostly fixed it would more than likely dog track pretty good. So get some...- MadOgre

Still cant see your pic. From top of axle tube to bottom of frame for a 4" lift should be close to, 10 3/4" in the front and 13 1/4" in the rear. Note that is from the axle tube not the spring pad. -

Ya 4:10s rock! I would like to find a FF with 4:11s These damn 14SF axles just keep dropping on my lap lol but I want a FF Could of grabbed a set 10 bolt and 14FF with 4:56s for $500 last year, and Im kicking my self cause now thinking back about it they were probably Dana60 and 14FF cause... -

12v Cummins swap
I think the biggest reason that transmission cross members have 2 dimensional bracing is because of the rotational force applied to the cross member and now that you have the bigger torque from the 12V, I would definitely put some vertical bracing on that cross member- MadOgre

1996 454 tbi in 87 GMC. Easy swap??
I haven't seen anything like that on here. But totally do able if you pull all The ECMs and swap in both engine and tranny from the 96'- MadOgre

Cant see your pic. Measure from top of axle tube to top or bottom of frame? and I will tell you how high your lift is. -

Double cardan
How much longer is the Dodge shaft? With a 6" lift the stock GM shaft can be retained but it is to short to last more than a year or two. I put the longer slip yoke on it but it is still to short for 6". I end up rebuilding it every couple of years. And it really hasn't even seen that much use...- MadOgre

I am at a loss
Oh OK I thought you probably had a 700R4 but anyways the "universal" bracket flexes a lot when you apply pressure through the cables. So it doesn't keep the cables positioned properly which for a 700R4 would burn up a tranny! Do you have any pics of what you got going on currently? Edelbrock...- MadOgre

I actually do not know if a V6 dizzy will fit. Only one way to find out though. Take some measurements of your I6 dizzy and then go to the junk yard and see, if it looks like it will interchange then take one home to see if it will.- MadOgre

A 4.3 V6 will use the distributor you want with 6 reluctors and then you just designate the cap terminals according to your firing order.- MadOgre
