    I did the same thing removing my cab but I 4 pointed chains to the seat belt mount bolts and seat bolts. Once I got the chain lengths right I was able to lift it and keep it stable without help!

    have the dual tanks wired, as seen in the picture. both sides. Running a LS 6.0 you shoud have the power trigger from your controller easy peesy!

    Sounds like my truck, have a non repaired dent behind the front fender on the cab, and a bondo repair in the drivers rocker, plus the driverside door and fender are a lot never than the passenger side. Thanks Dad!

    Disregard what I said, I miss read your post. I was thinking the charcoal canister. I would have sent a picture but mine has been removed.

    On my 73 it was on the driverside mounted to the Rad support next to the bottom of the radiator.

    What new tools have you got lately?

    I have a dewalt 20v max 1/4 impact driver that has become my go to tool for rust removal, and any other jobs it has 3 settings so your not breaking things. I just added a DA sander from dewalt.

    I know your in my neck of the woods, can I ask where you got it done that only a $100 more than a DYI kit. I want to get my new bed done like yours but also the underside before it's permanently attached to the frame. disregard, I didn't follow the post far enough you answered it already.

    More cab work done, top of the cab cleaned up and sealed. Time to move to the inside of of the cab.

    Got the bottom done, for now still looking for a body shop that will take it. More clean up on all the other sides to do! Put the new bed on the the frame for now to make room in the garage. bought the ORD 1 inch body lift but I dont like the look of it so those will be coming out.

    I know its a furd, 94 ranger Xlt I stole it for $1500 about 14 years ago. It has 347,960 miles on it and it just passed smog for the last time. Going up on the market as soon as my build is done!!

    Yes I replaced the bushings. It was a pain to get the old ones out because the outer sleeves were rust welded in place cut them out sawzall. blasted and like you had them coated. New bushing went in without any problems. New Energy suspension bushings from Summit. But I agree with @Frankenchevy...

    Found a lead on a used engine, couple questions

    listen up guy's @HotRodPC, I have worked on CANBus machines and the software has to be perfect and the connections between each input/output have to be also for it to work right. It is getting better and a lot of the farm equipment and heavy equipment are using it.
