Yea, I decided to do the same thing. instead of digging into the cluster plug. need some model paint for the orange needles but don't think i will go that far. Not sure if I'm going to keep it in the long run.- hoagster

Ok I found the Ammeter replacement with a volt meter gauge discussion. But the person removed the ammeter and installed the voltage meter but wired it to the power and ground of the water temp gauge. I get it, but wouldn't it be easier to re-pin wires in my case a 73 year model; pins 105 and 106...- hoagster

Well that truck sat in that spot we moved it from for a long time, in weather from freezing to blazing hot. We regularly get 115 in the summer which rivals the temps you see in the Phoenix area. I happy that you're getting it back on the road again. Looks a lot better. -

I bought and built a new bed, but I had a after market second tank to cut out, and who knows how muck road base, or oak had visited that bed, not to mention the tractor fubars. I would use the washer tack it. Things move tack the bolt too! Or put a six point tighten it and grind the edge off if... -

No it was AWG 6 die and wire, could be a learning curve. But those lugs aren't coming off I tried believe me! -

Didn't feel like paying for pre made wires. I was making new grounds for the truck, and got wire and tinned lugs at the local west marine. -

use fine coal from tractor supply and try again! -

my favorite tool got even better. Needed a angle drill. Dewalt came through again. some of the accessories that work really well with this attachment. -
No gauge cluster lights ~tail lghts ~ brake lights
I just heard this from another member check the ground at the emergency brake pedal. it is the ground for the dash lights.- hoagster

Another day of wiring, got the autometer temp sensor installed in the passenger side head, and worked on connecting the engine harness to the PCM relays! More tomorrow that bright roll of wire is the fan control relays still figuring out were and how to mount them. -

Moving along! wiring, wiring re-install stuff! Next up Aux Battery tray! Don't mind the pellet gun its cold and I have a woodpecker trying to break into the pump house! -
