Got my dash back from the upholstery shop, mounted the trim and A/C vents. Anyone that has a 81 or above I need help with the size of the defrost vent cover! -

What have you done to your square lately??
We had that in the Air Force called it F-4 tape! There was a roll of it in every tool box. Works awesome for radiator hoses just have to get it tight! -

I just bought a John Deere tractor!

I just bought a John Deere tractor!
ageless iron, magazine, web site! should be able to dig more info up on it. My dad had a model B, once he got it cleaned up and running he had a blast with it. Tractor pulls antique tractor club events.- hoagster

LQ4 Swap, starter wire routing question
Try this again, You also have the battery wires running in the same spot, There is a protection plastic cover that attaches in the front but it wouldn't fit properly so I removed it.- hoagster

Mines a LM7 but it should be the same. something went wrong here. But it runs thru a channel by the power steering pump across the front of the motor. I'll attempt the pictures again.- hoagster

What new tools have you got lately?
Tools are getting amazing, Found this and they are listed as a tap, not a drill set. They work awesome and they are stubby so you can get in places a drill bit won't. Bonus 1/4 chuck so they work with a impact also. Yes Dewalt has some too. -

So yesterday I decided time to throw a battery in it and see if I have power in the right places. Attached the battery, nothing should have seen xmas tree on the OBDII port for a moment. Nada, turn the key on zip. Pull the head light switch nothing. It's late in the afternoon, have a beer think... -

So I dug my dash out of the barn to clean it up. Haven't decided what to do with it yet! But I removed the dash molding needs help. I can't restore the upholstery to discolored. Thinking about getting it recovered. Has anyone purchased new dash molding? Mine is aluminum and I think the new... -

There should be one near the steering box on the top rail of the frame. And there is another location about mid way under the cab on the top rail good luck finding that one with the cab installed- hoagster
