Took the weekend to flush the welds on the rocker, yes Overkill on the tack welds - pulling straight little warpage from the alteration after the fact. That and a hand to remove my hood thrown in the box and then fastening the cowl support down - not 100% yet - hope everyone is getting lots done... -

Spent Boxing Day feathering out the welds on the cowl for the 67’ Resto-Mod - Three things about projects that prevents them from being worked on, Time, Money, Work and Family last one always seems to be a two parter that melds together for some reason.:birgits_tiredcoffee:birgits_tiredcoffee -

Modifying the underside of the hood one last time, wasn’t clearing the cowling as it went up it would catch - getting there slowly. -

Soon as I started cutting into it twisted, guy I picked up my second cowl from media blasted it before I ever touched this. Some relief cuts had to be made to get the right curvature to the cowling so it followed the hood. Cuts are at the points, I’m glad I smoothed out the wiper holes that have... -

Matching up and modifying my 67 cowling to affix it to the C30 square body cowling, 2 hours thinking, 1 hour of work- glad there’s no timelines on these projects and I’m not paying anybody to do this… I’d go broke :birgits_tiredcoffee -

Managed to get the bottom side primed and bolted on today and this evening, slant nose 67 “ Stormin Norman “ getting places this year. -

Took some flex out of the hood today with 3m flexible foam -

When you can, where you can I guess, Flipped the hood today, I’d say maybe 10-15lbs heavier than the original stock after modifying and body filler, getting ready to finish this back side and move onto the cowling. Has anyone had good or bad luck with the 3m flexible foam, did it last? Has it... -
