    My 86 454 Conversion to Propane / Gasoline dual-fuel

Had the same header issue with my first '85 C15, learned a lot on that header install. Then I found this: https://www.lmctruck.com/suspension/lift-lowering/chevy-1973-87-crossmembers-for-lowered-trucks Don't know if it would help but looked promising. I used adapters to go over it for now.

Help me Tom Cruise.. Fuel or Spark Issue??

Just as an FYI: Carb pressure should be 4-7 pounds. Put a cheap in-line gauge in and measure if you think you're getting too much pressure. Always have a vacuum gauge handy, they can help immensely with a running truck and issues. Also check carb bolts / screws and test choke pull off. Rochester...

    New speakers in stock locations?

In my 85 C15 I used $30 Kenwood KFC-835C 3.5-inch Round Car Speakers for dash replacements due to low height which didn't cause any dash pad bulging using the top mount stock brackets and they have nice quality sound. The stock lower cab corners use 4x10s and brackets are readily available thru...

    Rochester Quadrajet Woes

It's the ol' air-fuel-spark conundrum. I'm guessing...spark, since it wont run on ether and ether is usually sprayed straight into carb which eliminates the "air" factor since the air filter lid is removed. Take a spark plug out and ground against block and turn over, observe strength of spark.

Finding smog pump 1985 Chevy K20

Hello- Just took these off my running '85 GMC C15 305 ci VIN H. More than happy to part with all of it. Had 65000 or 165000 miles but truck was in really good shape so 65000 may be possible. Parts are in good shape and pump is not seized. Shipping cost will not be pleasant I imagine. Coming from...
