New coil springs too strong? Can't connect upper ball joint
I doubt that old spring will be much easier. Most good hardware stores will sell chain cut to the length you need.- WFO

What have you done to your square lately??
I've got that exact same model sittin on my bench, that I bought last week. My Alpine's output quit working except for the sub. Might just be a ground issue at the amps, but I haven't pulled the seat to check it out yet. If it is, the Kenwood will be for a spare. Stereos with a CD player are... -

I run a chain around the front axle of the floor jack, and the frame of the truck.- WFO

New head unit turns on and then right back off.
I have Alpines in 2 trucks and a car. On all of them the red wire goes to 12 volt switched, and the yellow goes to 12 volt constant, like the cigarette lighter, just for memory for settings and stations. All the other aftermarket stereos I've had over the years were the same.- WFO

New to me '82 Chevy C20
Welcome from the Texas Panhandle. I like 3/4 ton stances the way they rolled off the assembly line. I reckon that's why they used mostly 3/4 tons in their commercials.- WFO
