What have you done to your square lately??

Been locked out of the canopy for over a year from the pivots and rods rusting up, so today was the day to get back into where all the parts so far accumulated. Now, I have stuff to work with and do. My other love in the queue, hardbody Nissans. Needs a transmission. Reason I bought this...

5.7nhigh millage what oil do you use?

Magic oil. Lol But if you can't find any, the Rotella is good. I like Lucas in the large car, but personally have had mixed results with gas engines.

Should I trade for a Square?

Yeah, I'm in the do it camp too. If you need a plow, you need a plow. Besides, it's a SQUARE we're talking about!

What have you done to your square lately??

Old girl got a ride down the road instead of getting the Roadkill treatment for the short ride. Mrs Radiohead has AAA and they did us a solid by bending the roadside thing slightly. And stuffed in like the consumate professional he is. Thank you driver for getting me here.

Vinyl wrap is a lot harder than it looks on YouTube. Lol

I'm considering going with a wrap, because to do paint properly is beyond the scope of the budget. But to make a wrap look good will require some flattening of some sheet metal, so I may just have to sit the whole pretty truck thing out for a while and live vicariously through your posts.

Broken hearted kid and fuel system

You can get a barbed union to connect the hose from a tank to the hose connecting the steel going forward and bypass the valve altogether. Don't forget that the return line needs the same treatment, so two barbed unions appropriately sized with clamps and there you go. All accomplished at the...

How to adjust the steering wheel

Yeah, you loosen the collars on the tubes, turn the drivers side 1/4 turn in the opening direction and turn the passengers side in the closing direction. IOW, make the distance between tie rod ends on drivers side farther and passengers side closer. 1/4 to 1/2 turn applied to each in equal...

Rattle can noise when accelerating from stop

If its automatic trans, are all the torque converter bolts tight? I don't see how pre-detonation goes away after a certain speed, unless it has esc and its gone gunnybag.

Rattle can noise when accelerating from stop

Does it have a hot air diverter valve on a stock exhaust manifold? Sounds kinda like marbles being munched when the spring goes soft.
