Bolts holding power window to regulator miss matched

I got one of these a few months back, great tool I wish I knew the existed before but hindsight is 20/20. Way better than nut and bolt and helps in tight spots for sure. I think I’ll use it when I do my window regulator...

What have you done to your square lately??

I installed some generic hood insulation from LMC today, it’s okay. Not perfect but pretty okay. It sure would have helped if they offered a template or if I had a spare hood. If anyone else is doing this I recommend at least 15 Christmas tree clips

    Custom Tail Lights or Not

Iv never liked the Cadillac or corvette rear lights, even in the 90’s it had been dont to death. The el Camino look seems pretty clean and factory in my opinion. Although my vote is always for the factory look. I like boring

    Passenger side Coolant leak

About 20 years ago I had built a very expensive engine for my Lincoln mk VII that had the oil pressure sensor give out on this very first road trip… that’s a quarter inch hole at 60 pounds pressure or so. That hurt the number eight cylinder and necessitated a bearings change.

    Passenger side Coolant leak

Just an fyi. I rebuilt a 350 taken from a 1989 TBI and installed it in my 1985 pickup. When rebuilding the engine, I removed the knock sensor and observed what I thought to be a blind hole threaded in 1/4 x 18. I thought nothing of it for the past 18 months and maybe 3000 miles on the engine...

Rough and shaking 350 after changing spark plugs

I’m still of the mindset that his problem is vacuum related. Why are others pointing toward wires? He said the problem happens when the truck warms up. Does heat or expansion complicate the ignition system? I’m genuinely asking

Rough and shaking 350 after changing spark plugs

I’m pretty sure that that brown thing with the 3 vacuum lines on the side of your air cleaner housing is part of your air temp setup. When is senses cold air it provides vacuum to the vacuum motor ( it’s just a door ) on your air intake that takes warm air off of your passenger side exhaust manifold

Rough and shaking 350 after changing spark plugs

Attached is a vacuum diagram for a 1985 305 it may be of some help. The pic is of the EFE / Distr , tvs (grey thermal vacuum switch on the waterneck) and the egr / purge TCC, TVS ( black thermal vacuum switch that goes right into the manifold water passage) These switches supply vacuum to...

Rough and shaking 350 after changing spark plugs

I don’t think this is your problem but it should be connected to your electric choke if you still have one

    Somebody help a newbie!

I’m with matt69olds on this one. Slow and steady wins this race. Check the firing order, make sure the wires are seated and not burned cracked or otherwise damaged. Then check the plugs. They will tell you a story about the engine. Once those things are squared away adjust the timing and a/f...

    Meet Betty White

It’s great that you’ve got the winter to straighten her out. Brakes are generally a no brained so I’m sure you’ll be happy with the results. The shift indicator is a 10 minute job so don’t be shy about tackling that between dinner and desert
