    Carb Adapter

You should have a dual plane manifold, not an open plenum manifold, verify this. If it is true dual plane I'd run the 4 hole adapter. Running the open adapter will probably sacrifice some low end drivabilty.

    Proportioning Valve and Bleeding

A little trick for you. Get a piece of vacuum hose that fits the bleeders and a small bolt that will fit the vacuum hose. Drill a hole in a peanut butter jar lid pour 1.5 inches of brake fluid in the jar. Put the bolt in the end of the vacuum hose and put a small slit in the hose just above the...

What have you done to your square lately??

The actron one that goes in front of the TB is supposed to be able to be left in place. Again rumored to be in the 38.00 Amazon action kit. Just went to the actron website. It's discontinued.

What have you done to your square lately??

No Schrader on tbi,you have to add a fitting before the throttle body or at or instead of the fuel filter.

What have you done to your square lately??

This and a couple hunks of hose with clamps. Doesn't even need to be this, just a tee you can clamp in place with hoses in place of fuel filter. That's the cheap way, you can buy the correct fitting to go between the fuel line and throttle body. Supposedly the 38.00 action kit on amazon has the...

never jerk a stuck truck with a chain

Reminder, this man was killed trying to jerk a truck loose. And this was with a strap, broke the end of the receiver off, sent it through the windshield. I doubt a strap blanket would have helped, but couldn't have hurt

What have you done to your square lately??

FWIW even if a catalytic converter is not inspected in VA. It is still a violation of federal law to remove it and not replace it. Chances of getting caught just about zero. I'd still put a modern converter back on it,they remove over 90 percent of the carbon monoxide and a lot of the smell...

    87 or 89 Unleaded?

87 is fine better actually unless your 89 is ethanol free. More octane means more resistance to burn. Good for fighting preignition, but not better for making more power or better milage unless you tune specifically for the higher octane.

1986 K10 Cutting off When Put in Gear

A neutral safety switch will not turn off a running car. A neutral safety switch stops the starter from engaging

    Mechanical fuel pump return line

Are you sure you have a fuel return line, and you aren't looking at a vent line. If you have a return a 3 port pump with return would be preferable.

    Engine start-up, Lean code 44

How many minutes you got on it? It very likely is lean held at 2500 rpm,no load,I've had engines get the exhaust redhot on cam break in. If they are too hot I let em cool and go at it again. After break in oil is changed( I change it hot immediately after cam break in) anyway break in the...

How many, new, original in package, column seals do you think are out there? Repops are cheap because there's lots of them. This guy gets to sell one in his life, that's it.When it's gone it's gone. I hope he gets his money and I hope someone doing a concourse restoration gets the part.

    700r4 & Edelbrock TV Bracket

If the arm is the wrong length or angle line pressure will be wrong. Very hard on a 700r4 it's not like a th350. The cable controls pressure, not downshifts.
