Help with redoing my Front Grille 82 C10 and building a parts list.

Yes. The OEM style 1981/82 Silverado, quad lights. Gotcha.

Help with redoing my Front Grille 82 C10 and building a parts list.

I recommend the correct style 1982 quad headlight bezels.... over those chromed 1985-88 in that photo. :boti:

Two bad new oil pressure sensors? Tell me I am wrong.

There is a sender for "idiot lights" and a different sender for an actual OEM PSI reading gauge too.

    1981-82 Metal Lower Tailgate Mldg

Oh, it was NOS GM in the early 1981-82 model. I do not know what warranted the change?? Maybe it depended on the assembly plant??

    Door Weatherstrip Install

The use of this "auxiliary door seal" was discontinued after the 1982 model year too.

    Year ID - Headlight Bezel

1981/82 never had that set-up. The parking lights were always built down in the front bumper. 1981 had a single headlamp bezel with a matching grill pattern under the headlamp. 1982 had that same bezel AND a quad headlamp option on the Silverado style V22 trim. The new bezel you now have is a...

    3M Tape on cab moldings

    1981-82 Metal Lower Tailgate Mldg

That would be AWESOME "Prairie Drifter". It's odd this style of metal stamped lower tailgate molding came on the 1981-82 models. Those tailgates all had the small, square block "ESC" badge in 1981. Or that massive "Electronic Spark Control" 2-tone badge with those two big 1/4" pins going thru...

    question about gmc vs chevy

I like GMCs better. In the 1970-80s GMCs were actually rarer. GM made fewer of them. I like that.

    1981-82 Metal Lower Tailgate Mldg

Yeah. thanks for the replies guys. Wish I could get a PN# for a clip. I remember the junkyard truck did not have holes left on the tailgate's sheetmetal, so it must have been those large clips with a LARGE band of 3M adhesive tape that held these things on the early trucks. After all there is...

    1981-82 Metal Lower Tailgate Mldg

I have an early production LOWER tailgate molding that I pulled from a 1981-82 full size truck in a salvage yard in the late 1980s. Fast forward to 2024... What I can not remember is how it was attached??? Was it just several BIG blocks of 3M type double sided tape?? It is item #14 in the...

Fuel filler issue. This can’t be right.

Today's fuel pumps at the stations run a lot faster than they did when these trucks were new-10 years old. We have to run modern fuel station pumps at the slowest setting, and as some have said, pull the nozzle out some to get a nice, smooth, fuel flow.
