    Fuel leak?

Engine running rich, exhaust entering from the rear of the vehicle? Do you still get the fuel smell when the HVAC is on hi (non recycle setting)? You would want all the windows closed for this test. This would bring in fresh air from the front of the vehicle, and slightly pressurize the cab...

    Questions about... My rear end?

Sounds like it would be a better axle for hard core use. My main curiosity is which LSD would work better for what I want to do. I mainly want the best possible rear end traction for getting un-stuck if I am in deep mud, or trying to go uphill from a stop when on snow. I would like to be able to...

    Questions about... My rear end?

    Questions about... My rear end?

I have thought about swapping my diff out for a limited slip, but the whole axle is not in good shape - Aside from the diff, I would would have to install new brakes and all of the seals. It leaks gear oil from the pinion seal, and into both brake drums. So I figure if I am doing all the seals...

    Questions about... My rear end?

The truck currently has 8 lug axles front and rear. 410 gearing on the truck and on both the axles in the pictures. Those pictures that I posted are of the two axles that I have available to install in the truck. I already had the spring mounts moved to the correct spot to fit the Blazer. Both...

    Questions about... My rear end?

Hi. I want to replace the rear axle on my 1977 Blazer. I have a 14 bolt 8 lug FF with an open diff. I have two axles available that I can install. Both axles are 14 bolt 8 lug FF with limited slip. Which diff should I go with? Im GUESSING that one is a G80 out of a 1994 Chevy and the...
