    Someone I used to know had same issue with hei distributor. Never figured it out. Blamed grounds at first. Hope this gets figured out. What about the alternator possibly killing it?

    Ive had death wobble on numerous trucks and sometimes it was Bad Stabilizer shock? Or is this a 2wd?

    Seen a few leaks like that lol. Haven't used that company but the all aluminum radiators are much better imo.

    i know a jetta is not a mini but I've changed 1 engine and 2 clutches in 2005 mini cooper's without a lift. Each time I pulled engine and trans together. Once chained up good to my picker I sat down the sub frame onto the frame legs of my cherry picker and rolled it out to do the work then...

    Here's an example. Only $50 There pretty good but the modules in them are cheap but can replaced with high quality. I've bought a few like this over the years.

    If you did an efi conversion Why would you be using the esc distributor? That's probably the problem. Get a regular hei distributor and adjust it. That should solve the problem unless I'm missing something. I'm guessing you put one of those new electric carburetors ? The ESC distributor only...

    My 61 would get stuck in between and I'd have to reset it by hand. Definitely was infuriating lol, I think It only did it because it had lots of slop. Was going to fix it but ended up trading it off. I Miss that 235

    85 suburban ps pump, can I use a newer pump?

    I believe it will work, pretty sure ive done exactly this or opposite. Cleanest way to do it is by trading pump body's out and useing your original reservoir but run the risk of leaking if the seals are bad.
