I agree with metal tanks He just wanted a solution out of the seam being out far from the tank blocking the strap, the plastic one i figured would do that, then i also showed him why his strap didnt fit on the tank he tried :)- AuroraGirl

a good vacuum booster is just fine, but I must say I do like the pedal and feel and power of my 2005 silverados brakes with hydroboost. i mean.. the hole in the ozone was real, and not having it now is cool. maybe you could argue we are over-enforcing the sale/use considering its healthy now, but reducing CFCs lost helped fix it- AuroraGirl

gm says r12 to r134a you do 90% of the r12 fill, then subtract .25lb from the result You would want to of course have all the r134a components possible like condensor and a new drier, and change orifice tube. 1977 C20 Heavy duty with 11.15 drums?
Heres some more differences in the 1973-1987 or so 14 bolt FF brakes (11 to 13) I have no idea what the slip on era (88-01?) look like 11vs 13 or if they even have both. figured this would be good reference too kinda like bucket said- AuroraGirl

no you dont, if you have a 14 bolt you simply need to look at the back of the wheel where the drum is. the 11 inch drum will have lots of room The 13 will fill up the gap- AuroraGirl

cast aluminum is structural, i wouldnt modify the pan I dont know what the block is like, im sure its strong but there could be the chance a modified pan doesnt support the bottom of the block right- AuroraGirl
